In Part One, I explained why I believe Christians should pay attention to the Feast of Trumpets. Not because I know when Jesus is returning. I don’t. Not because I’ve discovered a secret date hidden in Scripture. I haven’t. I watch because Jesus told us to watch.
I study the biblical feasts because God established them as appointed times, and because the spring feasts provide an extraordinary template of fulfillment surrounding the first coming of Christ.
I pay attention to Trumpets because Paul tells us that the resurrection and transformation of believers occurs “at the last trumpet,” and 1 Thessalonians describes the Lord descending with “the trumpet of God.”
That’s why I’m watching Rosh Hashanah. But it doesn’t explain why one particular Rosh Hashanah has occupied so much of my thinking lately.
September 11, 2026.
That’s where this gets interesting. Before we start digging, I want to establish one rule. Some things I’m going to show you are mathematical facts. Some are patterns explicitly established in Scripture. Some are traditional Hebrew or Jewish symbolic interpretations. Some are simply observations that caught my attention. Those things are not interchangeable.
I’m not presenting them as proof. I’m showing you the trail I followed. You can decide what you think it means. Maybe nothing. But this is why I’m watching.
The Number 25
Start with the obvious. September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years later: September 11, 2026.
For those of us who remember 9/11, twenty-five years is difficult to comprehend. I remember that day. I remember the images. I remember the uncertainty. I remember watching the world change in front of us. And I remember the phrase America adopted afterward: Never Forget.
But there’s something strange about “never forget.” Eventually, there aren’t enough people left who actually remember. Someone born on September 11, 2001 turns 25 years old this year. They cannot remember 9/11.
Millions of American adults today either weren’t alive or weren’t old enough to understand what was happening. We’re watching September 11 make the same transition Pearl Harbor eventually made: Living memory → inherited history.
That makes the 25th anniversary culturally significant before we ever touch prophecy. But twenty-five has another familiar association. Silver.
SILVER
Twenty-five years is traditionally called the: Silver Anniversary. Scripture does not teach that the number 25 means silver. I don’t want to manufacture a biblical meaning that isn’t there. But once I noticed the silver anniversary, I became curious about something else. What does silver represent in Scripture? Silver appears repeatedly around ideas of value, payment, ransom and redemption.
Exodus uses silver in connection with atonement money and the sanctuary. Leviticus uses silver in valuations. Joseph is sold for silver. Zechariah gives us thirty pieces of silver. Judas betrays Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Silver isn’t a one-word biblical code for “redemption,” but the themes of price, value and redemption repeatedly surround it.
And here we are approaching the silver anniversary of September 11. Does that prove anything? No. But I noticed. I kept digging.
SEPTEMBER 11 MEETS ROSH HASHANAH
Then came the calendar. September 11, 2026 isn’t merely the 25th anniversary of 9/11. As the sun sets that evening: Rosh Hashanah 5787 begins.
Now two completely independent calendars converge. The American historical calendar says: Twenty-five years since September 11. The Hebrew calendar says: Rosh Hashanah. And the biblical appointment underlying Rosh Hashanah is Yom Teruah, the day of the trumpet blast.
If you’ve read Part One, you already understand why that makes my ears perk up. I counted the days.
9,131
How many days separate September 11, 2001 and September 11, 2026? Exactly: 9,131 DAYS No symbolism required. No rounding. No manipulated starting point. Twenty-five ordinary years give us: 25 × 365 = 9,125 Six leap days occur within the interval. 9,125 + 6 = 9,131
That’s simply where the calendar lands. Then I started taking the number apart. And that’s when I saw this: 9,131 = 7,777 + 1,354
Four sevens. If you don’t spend much time studying Scripture, maybe you shrug. I didn’t. Because seven is everywhere.
SEVEN
I don’t need gematria to establish the biblical importance of seven. Genesis does it for us. God establishes the creation week: six days → seventh-day rest. Then Scripture expands the pattern.
Six years of working the land. Then: the seventh year. Shemitah. Rest. Release. Then God expands it again.
Seven cycles of seven years: 7 × 7 = 49. And then comes Jubilee. Now move into Revelation. Seven churches. Seven lampstands. Seven stars. Seven seals. Seven trumpets. Seven bowls. When I’m already investigating a biblical appointment associated with trumpets and discover 7,777 sitting inside the exact 25-year interval, I’m going to notice.
I’m not going to tell you: “7,777 proves the Rapture.” It doesn’t. I’m simply asking: Would you notice it? I did.
SHEMITAH
This brought me into the seven-year cycle. Leviticus 25 establishes the Shemitah. Six years Israel works the land. Then comes the seventh. Rest. Release. Again: 6 → 7. It’s important to get something straight here. 5787 is not a Shemitah year. I’m not going to make it one because it would make the article sound better.
But Shemitah matters because it establishes something bigger: God demonstrably structures time through recurring cycles of seven. And then He tells Israel to count seven of those cycles.
JUBILEE
Seven times seven. 49 years. Then Jubilee. Look at the language surrounding Jubilee in Leviticus 25: Liberty. Release. Restoration. Return. People return to their possessions. People return to their families. And Jubilee is proclaimed with what? A trumpet. A shofar. Now think about the subject we’re already studying: Seven. Trumpet. Release. Return. Does that make 2026 a Jubilee year? No.
We cannot establish that. But does the biblical Jubilee demonstrate why the combination of seven + trumpet + release resonates with someone studying the resurrection and gathering of believers? Absolutely. I kept going.
25 PROPHETIC YEARS
Biblical prophetic chronology contains periods commonly calculated using a 360-day prophetic year, so I wondered what twenty-five of those years would look like. 25 × 360 = 9,000 days. But our actual interval is: 9,131 days. Which means: 9,131 − 9,000 = 131 Twenty-five complete 360-day years. And then: 131 days remaining.
That became the loose thread. I had accounted for 9,000 days. Now I had 131 staring at me. So naturally… I pulled it.
131
This is where I need to be particularly careful. Gematria does not work like a dictionary. You cannot simply say: “131 means X.” Many Hebrew words can have the same numerical value. I didn’t want to find one word that fit my theory and announce that God had encoded it into the calendar. I simply wanted to know: Does 131 lead anywhere interesting? It did.
And strangely, it led in two almost opposite directions.
ANAVAH — HUMILITY
One Hebrew word whose standard numerical value totals 131 is: ענוה : Anavah. Humility. The arithmetic: Ayin = 70 Nun = 50 Vav = 6 He = 5 Total: 131
I sat with that for a moment. After all these numbers… After all these calculations… After all these patterns… After asking whether September 2026 could possibly represent something significant… I arrive at: HUMILITY
And maybe that’s coincidence. But I couldn’t think of a more appropriate word for someone studying prophecy. Humility says: I can study without claiming omniscience. I can watch without claiming I know the hour. I can recognize patterns without declaring every pattern prophetic. I can say: “This has my attention” without saying: “Thus, saith the Lord.”
That’s the posture of the watchman I’ve been trying to maintain throughout this entire study. But 131 had another association. And this one went in almost exactly the opposite direction.
THE DARK SIDE OF 131
In later Jewish mystical traditions, the name: Samael — סמאל also totals: 131 Same number. Very different association. Samael appears in later Jewish traditions as an adversarial or destructive angelic figure and becomes associated in various traditions with accusation, death and evil.
Let me emphasize something: I’m not deriving Christian doctrine from Kabbalah. Scripture doesn’t tell us: “131 is Satan’s number.” It isn’t. I would never build theology upon that claim.
But I found the contrast fascinating. Because now sitting around the same numerical value were two radically different ideas: HUMILITY and REBELLION One bows before God. The other represents opposition to God. And my mind went straight back to Scripture.
TWO KINGDOMS
What characterizes Christ? Philippians tells us He humbled Himself, becoming obedient even to death on a cross. Humility. Now look at Paul’s description of the coming man of lawlessness.
Second Thessalonians 2 describes one who:
“opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped.”
Exalts himself. The opposite posture. Then Revelation pulls back the curtain farther. The Dragon. The Beast. The False Prophet. Revelation 13 tells us:
“The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.”
Within the pre-tribulation understanding of prophecy that I hold, the removal of the Church precedes the emergence of the Antichrist’s system and the extraordinary period of deception and lawlessness Scripture describes.
That doesn’t mean Satan becomes sovereign.
God never stops being sovereign.
But Revelation describes a limited period during which satanic authority operates through the Beast with extraordinary influence over the world’s political, economic and religious systems.
So when my unexplained 131 led me toward both: humility before God and adversarial rebellion against God I found the contrast intriguing. Does 131 predict the Antichrist? No. Does it prove September 2026 begins the Tribulation? No.
But at this point in the investigation, I’m not going to pretend I didn’t notice the imagery.
AND THEN THERE’S PSALM 131
Here’s where the 131 trail became almost poetic. Open Psalm 131. What is it about? Humility. David begins:
“LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty…”
Then he describes quieting himself before God. And the Psalm ends by telling Israel to hope in the LORD. Psalm numbering shouldn’t be treated as an inspired numerical code. I’m not suggesting God numbered Psalm 131 so prophecy students in 2026 could discover a secret message.
But come on. I had 131 left over. I found anavah, humility, at 131. Then I opened Psalm 131… and encountered humility and Israel trusting God. Maybe that’s coincidence. But sometimes coincidence can still preach a pretty good sermon. And the sermon I heard was: Stay humble. Watch. Study. Dig. But remember who God is… and remember who you aren’t. Then I continued.
5787
At sundown on September 11, 2026, the Hebrew calendar enters: 5787 Hebrew years are commonly abbreviated without the thousands: 787. We’re in the 5780s. The Hebrew letter representing 80 is: Peh — פ And peh means: MOUTH Then comes the final digit.Seven. Zayin — ז Zayin has the numerical value: 7
Within traditions of Hebrew-letter symbolism, Zayin has also been associated with a weapon or sword, and some interpretive traditions draw crown imagery from it. Again: Symbolism, not doctrine. But I’m a Christian. I’ve read Revelation. So put these images in front of me: Mouth. Seven. Sword. Crown. And ask me where my mind goes.
THE KING WITH THE SWORD FROM HIS MOUTH
Revelation 1 describes Jesus:
“Out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword…”
Then Revelation 19 describes the returning Christ. King. Judge. Conqueror. And again:
“Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword…”
So, I’m looking at: 5787. Peh. Mouth. Zayin. Seven. Traditional sword imagery. Rosh Hashanah. Trumpets. And Revelation describes the returning King with a sword proceeding from His mouth. Does that establish that Revelation 19 occurs during 5787? Absolutely not.
But does a Christian who studies Revelation stop and look at that? This one did.
THEN I FOUND THE 19-YEAR CYCLE
At this point I moved away from biblical numbers and into astronomy. The Hebrew calendar is lunisolar. The months follow the moon, while the calendar must remain aligned with the solar seasons. One of the mechanisms behind that synchronization is the approximately: 19-YEAR METONIC CYCLE Nineteen solar years correspond closely with 235 lunar months. So naturally, I counted.
September 11: 2001. Add nineteen years: 2020 I stared at it. Because everybody remembers 2020.
COVID
I’m not claiming the Metonic cycle caused COVID. I’m not claiming Scripture predicted COVID through a nineteen-year calculation. I’m saying something much simpler. 2001 changed the world. Nineteen years later: 2020 changed the world again. COVID.
A worldwide pandemic. Borders closed. Schools closed. Businesses closed. Churches closed. Air travel collapsed. Cities emptied. Governments declared emergencies. Families were separated. People were isolated. Whatever your opinions about the politics surrounding COVID, the historical fact is undeniable: 2020 was a global rupture.
And Scripture repeatedly uses pestilence as part of its prophetic vocabulary. So yes. As someone studying prophecy, I noticed. Then I wondered:
What happens if I go backward nineteen years instead?
1982
2001 − 19 = 1982. What happened? Israel went to war in Lebanon. The First Lebanon War. Israel. Lebanon. Syria. The PLO. A major Middle Eastern conflict. Interesting. Another nineteen.
1963
1963. John F. Kennedy is assassinated. Another generational American trauma. Syria undergoes the Ba’athist coup that fundamentally reshapes its political future. The Cold War world is living under the shadow of nuclear confrontation. Not everything fits perfectly. That’s important. But there was enough there to make me continue.
1944
Another nineteen. 1944 Now we’re standing in World War II. The Holocaust. The destruction of European Jewry. Hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews deported to Auschwitz. And then: D-Day. The liberation of Western Europe accelerates.
For anyone studying biblical prophecy involving Israel and the Jewish people, 1944 is not a year you casually walk past. So I kept counting.
1925
Another nineteen. And… Nothing particularly overwhelming for this investigation. Of course, things happened in 1925. Something happens every year. But if I have to hunt for an obscure event and convince you it’s significant, I’m no longer discovering a pattern. I’m manufacturing one.
So: 1925 = weak. That’s part of honest investigation too.
Then I kept going.
1906
Another nineteen years. 1906 April 18: The San Francisco earthquake. One of the most devastating natural disasters in American history. But days earlier, something else began in Los Angeles: THE AZUSA STREET REVIVAL One of the foundational events in the development of modern Pentecostal Christianity. A movement centered upon Acts 2.
The Holy Spirit. Pentecost. And days later: Earthquake. At this point? Yes. I put the calculator down for a minute.
SO IS THE METONIC CYCLE PROPHETIC?
I don’t know. And I won’t tell you that it is. Keep moving backward and you’ll find some remarkable years and some ordinary ones. So I’m certainly not claiming: Every nineteen years God sends a prophetic event. The evidence doesn’t support that.
But look at the sequence that caused me to keep investigating: 1906 – Azusa Street / San Francisco earthquake + 19 years 1925 – weak + 19 years 1944 – Holocaust / World War II / D-Day + 19 years 1963 – Kennedy assassination / Middle Eastern upheaval + 19 years 1982 – Israel-Lebanon War + 19 years 2001 – September 11 + 19 years 2020 – COVID
Then: six more years. Which brings us to: 2026 And here comes another pattern I already recognize from Scripture.
SIX… THEN SEVEN
Creation: six days of work → seventh-day rest.
Shemitah: six years of labor → seventh-year rest.
Again: 6 → 7 2020 plus six years brings us to: 2026. And at Rosh Hashanah 2026, which Hebrew year begins? 5787 There’s seven again.
Am I telling you that means the world has completed “six years of labor” and is entering some prophetic seventh year? No. Scripture doesn’t say that. I’m showing you why someone accustomed to biblical templates notices the imagery. And by now…
I was noticing a lot.
PUT EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE
Stand back from it. Don’t interpret anything yet. Just look.

Not:
“Does this prove Jesus is returning September 2026?”
It doesn’t.
Ask something much simpler: Would you keep looking?
Because I did.
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS?
Nothing crazy. I’m not selling everything I own. I’m not telling people to quit their jobs. I’m not standing on a mountain in a white robe. I’m not putting a countdown clock on my website. And I’m certainly not telling you: “Jesus is returning September 11, 2026.” Maybe September 11 comes. The sun goes down. Rosh Hashanah begins. The trumpets sound. The festival passes. And nothing happens that any of us recognize as prophetic fulfillment.
If that’s what happens, I’ll wake up afterward with exactly the same Savior I had before it. My faith isn’t in September 11. My faith is in Jesus Christ. But my Savior also told me: Watch.
So, I’m watching.
131 BROUGHT ME BACK WHERE I NEEDED TO BE
After everything I’ve studied, perhaps the strangest thing is where that little remainder brought me. 131. Humility. Because that’s where every prophecy student eventually needs to stand. I don’t know everything. Neither does the pastor with the prophecy chart. Neither does the bestselling author. Neither does the person with the YouTube channel. Neither does the person who has memorized Revelation.
We’re human beings trying to understand an eternal God who sees the end from the beginning. Sometimes He tells us something centuries before it happens. And sometimes we don’t understand what He told us until we turn around afterward and say: “Oh. That’s what that meant.”
I will study. I will calculate. I will compare. I will pray. I will listen. I will watch. But I will also remain humble enough to say: I could be wrong. That’s not weakness. That’s watchfulness without arrogance.
I STILL SMELL RAIN
Go outside before a storm. The sky changes. The leaves turn upward. The wind shifts. Then the smell changes. One of those things alone doesn’t prove rain is about to fall on your house. Neither does one number. Neither does one anniversary. Neither does one feast. Neither does one Hebrew letter. Neither does one dream. Neither does one historical cycle. But eventually enough things can make you look toward the horizon.
That’s where I am. September 11, 2026. Twenty-five years after the day America promised to Never Forget. As that anniversary comes to an end and the sun disappears beneath the horizon, the Hebrew calendar enters Rosh Hashanah 5787.
The appointed season of Trumpets. Maybe it means nothing. Maybe we’ll understand it differently ten years from now. Or maybe someday we’ll look backward, the way people so often look backward at fulfilled prophecy and suddenly see something that wasn’t completely clear while we were standing inside it.
I don’t know. And perhaps 131, humility, is exactly where God would want someone like me to leave the question.
I don’t know when the rain will fall. I don’t know whether this storm passes over us. But Jesus told me to watch the sky, so I’ll keep watching. Because right now…
I can smell the rain.
The purpose of studying prophecy isn’t to become obsessed with dates. It’s to understand God more deeply, recognize the patterns He has already given us, and live differently because we know the Bridegroom is coming.
